I wish that there was a separation in state and church, but in places as religious heavy as this, it may be too much to ask. Still, such a shame. As the top comment says, all you have to do is monitor your child’s reading (which you should be doing anyway). Manage your responsibilities, but don’t expect others to share in your moral outlook. Don’t make a you issue an everybody issue.

This is a public library pulling kids books that involve LBGTQ subject matter. Not pornography. Not graphic violence. This is wrong and must be challenged.

These assholes are moralists of the worst sort, trying to force their beliefs and prejudices onto everyone. No. Parent your children. Know what they are reading and watching. Talk to your kids.

Banning books and the ideas and realities they contain (because LBGTQ+ is a significant part of reality… 7% of the US are LBGTQ) is the purest form of arrogance, hubris and stupidity that I know about.

I wish I could enter the mind of the “gay books are trying to get the children!” Types.

So let me get this straight, you want underage gay porn to be available to children because “they do it anyway”.
