I’d be content with a 20+ pt deduction and stripping of titles won in the last “x” amount of years.

    Relegation is nothing.

They will be instantly promoted and all it does is punish the Championship teams because it’s effective a write off for one peomotion place.

Strip them of their titles. That’s the only thing that punishes because that’s what it was about, that’s what they gained.

Any financial penalty will be simply the cost of doing business because money doesn’t matter to these. Relgation is a one season bump. Point deduction is a one season bump and even more a gentle slap than relegation.

Remove their titles and black mark every record they registered

    Make it fair for them.

    10 points deducted per charge.

Should a team finish a season with negative points tally, it gets carried over to the next one.

I would rather them get a 20 point deduction for 10 seasons, than see them go down and take a promotion spot from a deserving team.

The key to this is the “found guilty” part. Lots of money will change hands to make this all go away.

It’s crazy that relegation is considered an almost impossible punishment when in reality it would be nothing more than a slap on the wrist considering how much they benefitted from cheating in the first place. The punishment wouldn’t even come close to compensating the advantage that was gained.

Whatever the punishment will be it will prove that cheating pays off massively.
