Imagine the PR gaff of having to retrospectively strip titles from a club. All the PL will do is wait for a season where City win the league by 20 points and strip them of 19.

    They could look at it the other way, that having City win title after title despite everyone knowing they’re financial frauds is far more damaging to the image of the PL.
    We know the PL favours historically big clubs, and City not being one of them means they don’t have that status or aura to protect them
