This is the best start for the Detroit Lions in 61 years. They are on an extended 16-4 winning streak dating back to last season.

Puts that 21-20 win over the Chiefs in a different light, now that the Lions are 8-2 and the Chiefs are 7-2, doesn’t it?

It’s insane to think about it: The last time the Lions were 8-2, JFK was still alive and President of the United States. It just so happens this year is the 60th anniversary of his assassination.

They don’t deserve to be but they are.

I root for them for the NFCN but they aren’t even close to a SB caliber team.

Whenever I see Dan Campbell mentioned, I remember the one interview he did after a game where he cried.

The man loves his team and never gave up on it. I hope he continues to stay with the team because clearly he is best thing to happen to it since 1962.

I am a Vikings fan, we are honestly a very up and down team, year by year.

So I do have some serioues respect for the Detroit Lions and their fans, except when we play them of course :)

    About time, about time.

Luckily for a weird circumstances I was in Canton Ohio, 2004, to see the Pro Football Hall of Fame, the year Barry Sanders got enshrined. And a few others, John Elways, Rob Browne, and Carl Eller.

But the main point is that you guys are due, and so many special players you’ve had over the years, will be honored, if you bring it home.

If it can’t be the Vikings this year, I hope you get into the Super Bowl for the honor of NFC North!

    SKOL!
