I don’t get the AOC hate. I mean I understand minor frustrations with him but I feel like a lot of people want to trash him so quick. Like let the dude cook and I think we could have a solid qb. I think with AP and Hardegree he could really fine tune and tweak his few flaws. I think he could be the real deal just get him a solid backup but I think a lot of us fans are sleeping on my boy. He’s been holding his own, especially with so much change during his rookie year. End rant. Stop the raider hate.

We get a decent defense and escape from solitary confinement (JMD) and we lose our minds

His overthrown have killed us. Especially on 4th down. Do not overthrow the WR on 4th down. It’s simple. It’s 4th down. Give SOMEONE, ANYONE, a chance. Zero reason to overthrow.on 4th down

We are drafting a QB if we wanna win bro. I understand liking a player and being hopefully that they will succeed, but I’m trying to win

In his 4 starts he has

    a 60% completion rating, 2 TD’s, 5 INTs, 4 fumbles, a QB rating of 71.8 and averages 218 yards a game for a y/a of 6.1.

Those numbers are basically identical to Zach Wilson and Bryce Young through their first 4 games

Now hopefully he can improve but there really isn’t much that he’s giving us to be hopeful about. He doesn’t flash elite athletic traits, he isn’t processing the game at a high level, he’s 25, the only thing he has going for him over someone like Jimmy G is he can throw further, but he still doesn’t have elite arm strength or accuracy.

Yes he has excuses thanks to whatever the hell Josh McDaniels was doing but 1 TD a game simply isn’t going to cut it in the NFL.

This was a winnable game that we could have skated with if he was able to put together more than one TD drive or hell just kept the FG’s coming.

I think it’s obvious we’re rolling with him for the rest of the year but he’s got a hell of a leap to make.

Of course we’re going to keep him, but not as the starter. He’s old, statuesque, and has accuracy issues. A QB is a must in the draft

QB is not the position to go with the “He’s good enough and cheap” position unless you’re someone like SF who has an absolutely loaded roster and proven offensive Guru that can help the QB thrive. The Raiders should aggressively look for a QB in this draft and if they find one that is gettable and better for the team than AOC, that is priority number one.

First major Keys to building a team: Get a QB (_______) Get to the QB (Crosby) Protect your QB (Miller)

Yeah I feel like I missed something and the 49ers won a Super Bowl somewhere between now and 1995 I’m not aware of.

The 49ers I know haven’t won despite having a STACKED roster because they haven’t had a QB.

People keep pointing to the team that keeps underperforming year after year because of QB play as a shining example of why it’s ok to not have a great QB when they prove exactly the opposite.

Here’s the deal. AOC will be a starter in 2 or 3 years. That was the plan. He was supposed to be behind Jimmy G then take over after Gs contract was up. He’s been thrown into a fucked scenario and he’s doing well.

I don’t think we need to draft a QB, I think we need a vet with good production to feed the ball to our offense and make better decisions. If we continue beefing up the defense we’re contenders by next year.

The question is who do we put in to start in front of AOC. Unpopular opinion, but it looks like Dobbs is going to stay with Vikings, and Justin Fields is getting cut by the Bears. We should pick up Fields or Cousins, and go draft heavy on defense and OLine- then get some wins over the next three years and left AOC take over right behind that.

Oh and get a better OC.

Y’all are overly emotional. Anyone being critical and not announcing how aoc is the qb of the future isn’t “hating”

They want a mobile QB and think that’s a sure fire thing you get with an early first round draft pick, like Johnny Manziel, Trey Lance, Justin Fields, Zach Wilson, Marcus Mariota, Robert Griffin III, etc

Sure, every once in a while you find a bust later in the first round like Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson or Patrick Mahomes, but mostly it’s guaranteed winners when you’re picking a QB in the Top 5.

There are at least two players and some would say four in this upcoming draft that are better prospects than everyone in your first list.

Everyone acts like every draft class is equal and it’s not true. For example, this last QB class was weak and everyone knew it. Bryce Young had huge red flags but went first because virtually every QB did.

Acting like there was the same probability of Young and Manning being stars because they both went first overall is dumb. You have to do the actual scouting.

Dude is a backup playing like a backup. Yeah let’s keep him in case our rookie QB goes down next year. We have to draft QB we have no choice.

Hes good enough to be serviceable but with as many good QBs as there are in the next draft you can’t pass on a qb. Absolutely have to get a solid qb being that this is the best qb draft in a long time

Anything that’s not sucking his dick = hate 😂

If we started the season with AOC he’d be leading the NFL in interceptions, just like Jimmy.
