A Song of Ice and Fire author George R.R. Martin has said he's written 1,100 pages of next book The Winds of Winter, the same amount he'd written as of December 2022, while also revealing there are eight Game of Thrones spin-off shows being worked on.
I can’t believe anyone is actually anticipating any new material from this guy. He either took the money and ran or has no cares in the world. The last two books were just ok anyway. And if the show has any merit (I think it does) the next books won’t be any better
