I have a iPhone 12 ProMax and the battery is still great. Had it for about three years and this month I’ll finally pay it off. 🥹

I could easily use it another year. I’ve never had any hardware issues either or had to factory reset it.

Depends on your price range. My 12 Pro works just fine except the battery is getting to the point where I think I might replace it.

Normally I upgrade every year to the model two years old. If I can find a cheap enough 13 Pro ($325) I’ll buy it and sell my 12 Pro for $275 and just upgrade for half the cost of a battery replacement.

I use a dedicated digital Olympus camera when taking pictures so the phone camera is ignored. My old lens from my film camera days fit the OM10. The RAM and storage were the deciding factors when picking my first Apple toy. I regret getting the iPhone 14 plus as it was too much money for my uses, but it does promise a long life. The design means nothing as I always put a thick protective case on the phones I carry. I have no vanity about what phone I am seen carrying. As a phone, I will use it until the phone fails, Verizon no longer supports it, or I die.
