Reading the title I was really expecting a candy dispenser. Like, a really smart person, who likes candy, having little fun side project for passing time and having fun or something.

Or… just stick with me for a moment here: you could be supporting Ukraine’s right to defend themselves without being a distasteful ass making fun of war by calling it a “candy dispenser”…
“Candy” is a term used by Ukranian units.
That doesn’t make it less distasteful, only sadder.
Your pearl clutching is weird
I find glorification of and euphemisms for weapons and the act of killing people weird and inhuman.
If that’s somehow “pearl clutching” for you that’s okay for me but also weird.
Euphemisms and dark humor are common coping mechanisms. I find it hard to judge as my country isn’t being devastated by a foreign invader.
That is a “candy dispenser”, as the load is usually a 3D-printed shell from whatever color spool available.
