Didn’t fire up on Steam for me, and needed the low overhead of Lutris. First time playing it, and liking it so far.

Sure. Steam have their own set of free and discounted games and GOG has their own set of free and discounted games. The free and discounted games from one game store may not be the same as the other.

I tried it. Didn’t work for me. The microstuttering is still a mess. The only think I want are those achievements on gog. Running cyberpunk with heroic launcher works really good with no microstuttering but no achievements.

Dude. Please delete this video. It objectively harms the Linux community by hurting adoption. Anyone seeing this that was thinking about switching is going to change their mind immediately.

You don’t do ANY of this shit to install Cyberpunk. I’ve run the GOG version of Cyberpunk for almost 3 years. The WHOLE POINT of GOG is that it’s DRM-free, meaning you don’t need Galaxy whatsoever to install, update, or play your games.

Your own video shows “GOG” on the left pane of the Lutris window. All you have to do is click that, log in to GOG, and your entire GOG library appears in Lutris, you right-click Cyberpunk, click Install, and it installs it WITHOUT GOG. Then you just play it. There’s no workarounds, there’s none of this goofy bullshit you did in your video.

I’m sorry, but seriously your video is OBJECTIVELY harmful to Linux adoption, not to mention it’s littered with errors and misrepresentations. Delete it.

Dude, your funny. You think everyone has a singular experience on Linux. Press a button, it does it all for you, until it doesn’t. Use this launcher, press a button, until it doesn’t. If we had that experience, then we wouldn’t have bottles, lutris, steam, playonlinux, wine, heroic launcher, and whatever comes next.

You like to point out what everyone is doing wrong, throw insults, and act superior but after reading your posts, I haven’t seen anything that you have posted contribute to the community except furthering the stereotype of a superiority complex.
