I have been running a linuxGSM minecraft server on ubuntu server 22.04 and it has been working fine but recently i tried to change some basic server settings and wanted to restart it but any command i try to execute with ./mcserver “whatever/monitor/restart etc …” it runs very slow and it takes like a good 20 minutes,

I tried reinstalling the mcserver, linuxgsm.

Every other thing i have running on my server runs without issue (plex, jellyfin, apache web server etc…) only linuxgsm minecraft server seems to be incredibly slow no matter what i do please help.

Minecraft servers took to much resources, reset usually takes 5 minutes as much but depends on CPU, ram and mods/plugins installed, amd fx seems not should be good for a vanilla server but just if you have at least 8gb ram and 7gb to the game server to have 8 players in survival (that’s was my setup), if not this at minimum, server would be slow for sure
