Holy shit. I was just thinking. Everything aside, imagine being AOC. Dude is kind of a frumpus, average dude. Not super fit or chiseled or anything, but he is Starting Quarterback for the most badass franchise in NFL history. He is out there throwing passes and handing the ball off to some of the best players in the league. He is supported and respected by all these awesome, powerful people, rocking SILVER AND BLACK! He’s not a captain, and me may not make it to next season…
…but imagine being him. That’s all of us. Just a goober, every day joe, out there playing on the fuckin RAIDERS. I can’t even imagine. The stories he’s gonna tell his grand kids. What a cool thing. Good for him!
I mean, he’s 6’3" 210lbs and has been training his whole life. Started at QB for a good school in the Big 10 and broke a record held by Drew Brees.
He’s not really an “average Joe” by any means lol.
Even the worst NFL player is better than 99.5% of the population.
Hey look my 5’9" 165lb ass could be just as good as him, you never know! LoL
I’m sold, sign this man. Lets see what we got.
Yeah people really delude themselves with these things lol.
Ain’t no way that dude is 210 with his build if he’s 6’3”.
People just relate to him because he’s fucking ugly lmao
It’s the same reason people loved Peyton Manning but thought Tom Brady was an entitled douche… even though Peyton was the one who grew up with a Dad in the NFL and was an asshole while Brady grew up in a normal family
He’s not really ugly, it’s just his mustache makes him look goofy. And he’s stood next to Jimmy.
I take that personally because I am literally AOCs doppelgänger
Lol Brady grew up in San Mateo and went to Serra. Not quite “normal”.
To be fair Serra was like $4000/year at the time and Bay Area public high schools were pretty terrible in San Mateo at that time compared to national average. Sending kids to Serra was a pretty middle class thing in that area at the time.
Yeah I mean he wasn’t a lower middle class American but still the gap between his and Peyton’s family is much larger than the gap between Brady’s family and a poor family
My point being is that just because Peyton is ugly people think he is an “every man” when really he grew up rich and with every opportunity to become an NFL QB because of his dad. Not relatable at all to a regular Joe
I thought Eli was the ugly one
Lol I agree 😆
No I know. I just mean they’re both pretty unrelatable to the every man lol
“Not particularly attractive” =/= “average Joe”
I think that’s what people are looking at and mistaking. He’s not handsome and chiseled. But he’s still a professional athlete with a lifetime of work put in to this. He’s not a random dude that never played football before and went to an open workout one day and wound up on the team.
