As the title says, unreal games don’t run on steam, they DO run on lutris, but on lutris they don’t run in VR. I have steam vr open, using ALVR with a quest 2. I run Linux mint. I have a 10600kf and an Rx 7600.

I’m pretty sure OP has a quacked game. VR definitely work on Linux with a quest 2, ran them myself, but always on steam, never tried lutris. But I do believe that if you add the game to steam and start it in VR it might work, that or you might need to get steam VR driver (or something similar, idk) in the prefix. Alternately, launching the exe through steam in VR should work.
