    Whoa, never thought it would be big in Japan, I was thinking about this today as Hideo Kojima retweeted a picture of a Japanese person playing Death Stranding on a Steam Deck.

      People travel by train quite frequently in most parts of Japan. Steam Deck is perfect for that, and is one of the main reasons Japanese companies have produced handheld gaming machines over the years (at least, in my opinion.) Think of all the awesome machines Nintendo and Sony have put out over the years, I think that’s a driving reason.

    That’s great news. IDK why but for me the Steam Deck fits perfectly for the japanese market. Valve has a real shot of penetrating this market dominated by PS and Nintendo.

    So valve’s plan to trojan horse PC gaming into japan worked huh? Big bet, big reward! And that’s very impressive considering the market in japan!

    Interesting, took me a while to get my 1 TB OLED Deck ordered on the 16th but got it the following Wednesday. I was expecting it to sell out in the US/Cananda, but it seems to be in good supply.
