It has surprised me how much I’ve missed Riyad Mahrez. Like many I loved this player since he came into the league with Leicester, even more so from that unbelievable title winning season. Eventually he moved to Man City, the club I have the most dislike for in the league, but I just loved watching him. I guess I never realised until he was gone just how much I loved watching him though.

Kind of wish that if he was planning on leaving City that he’d have stayed in the league for a new challange. To go from a team that won everything to an Arsenal or a Newcastle and try to take those clubs to the next level perhaps. But yeah it did surprise me just how much I’ve missed him this season.

I also have to throw in David de Gea, made sense for United to move him on, I mean they had believed Onana was available and he had just played a Champions League final, but de Gea would have done the bits for United again this season no doubt. Miss his goalkeeping in the PL

He just doesn’t want to fumble the bag, thats for sure. He can always go back to the top leagues in Europe barring major injuries or the consequences of having big bags of tax-free Saudi Money.

Yeah true, I criticize young players who go there but I’d be no different. If someone offered me even like 500K a week I’d bite my finger and sign the paper with my blood lol

Saint-Maximin for sure. Had some injury issues and was a bit hit and miss at times but on his day was absolutely electric.

I miss Xhaka a lot. Obviously have a modified playstyle this season but I miss his long passing. Also redemption arc personified was sad to see him go.

Funny enough they’re actually doing better without him. (please don’t take me seriously)

It’s not wrong, Postecoglou and the new players were a big enough improvement on the rest of the squad to not miss Kane, but I wish they still had Kane, considering what he did for very disfunctional squads and what he’s doing for Bayern, Spurs would be insane with him this season

Spurs are going to end up having the same issues that they had when Kane was still there. They look decent in the beginning of the season but once injuries occur and starters get tired they fall off a cliff because of a lack of depth. They are going to be in bad shape after the holiday part of the season.

actually well be in much better shape then, than we are now. we get maddison and Van de ven back, and romero and bissouma will both have been returned, we will literally be at full strength, our problem is we have one decent defender in van de ven and we have a dirty player in romero who cant stay disciplined, outside that we have no defense. our big issue is the asia cup, and losing SOn for that. but we have no outside league or cup games to worry about .

Don’t we also lose sarr and biss to the Africa cup of nations? We will not be in great shape after the break unfortunately.

Yeah but what I mean is they’d most likely be even better with him. Although I personally really fancy Son as the striker.

I loved Harry Kane scoring 400 goals a season for Spurs and still ending the season with a look on his face of “what the fuck else can I do?”

I am actually for Kane doing well at BM. He deserves to win something in his career and show his quality outside the toilet bowl.

Facts is facts even as a Spurs player. He was doing everything he possibly could (except turn up in knock out games tbh). It was time to move

Kompany & Gundo are both legends for me too but they single handedly took the titles from Liverpool in span of 3 years… So freaking annoying it was…

Although respect to them for doing that for their team

I hate the term ‘clutch’ but that’s exactly what he was. Like a Gerrard or a Drogba, if you needed a goal for an important win he was the man who would pop up and get one
