Mate spurs where easily dominating that game but couldn’t finish would of won if that dirty polak didn’t injure Bentancur in his first start in over a year

You bottled a one horse race MATE! 🤦🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️😱🤪 And Big Ange IS revolutionising spurs. We are a better, more exciting team. I LOVE watching us. I’d rather lose being an attacking team and trying to make something happen then sit back and park the bus and still lose.

Good thing we don’t have to. All our injured players are due to be back in the next month or two. If we bring in a starting quality CB in the meantime it could be earlier.

I’m aware. We had to do it for half a season and ended up with mids as CBs and got 4th place. So that obviously has to be your benchmark if you’re only playing a few matches without both starting CBs

Can’t wait for Romero, VdV, Maddison, Bissouma, Bentancur, Perisic, Richy, Solomon, and Sess to come back. Hopefully add another starting quality CB to that as well.

In all honesty I’d be pretty surprised if Perisic plays another game for Spurs - long term injury, contract up soon and he’s on the wrong side of 30.

with zero additional games, actually less because they bombed out the carabao cup, starting to think ange may be a little too demanding of them and his style of football isnt good for prolonged periods of time

    We’re freeeeeeee, free falling.

Our bench is lite af and the last 3 results are confirmation of that.

With respect, we were missing TEN actual first team players.

Van de Ven, Romero, Bissouma, Sarr, Maddison would all have started. Bentancur has gone down again. So our first choice CBs and our first 4 midfielders out.

Richarlison, Solomon, Perisic, Sessegnon all give us depth and may have come off the bench.

No club in the country could absorb this scale of player absence, yet we still dominated the match and should have won.

You do realize when Norwich beat Man City they were without 8 first team players and over half of those being starter and also with way less funds for any depth. … While I’m not saying y’all didn’t dominate, it is a lousy excuse for any clubs trying to fight for Ucl. You need depth, and that’s not to mention spurs don’t play in any other contest atm other than PL unlike Villa… so yeah it was unlucky injuries, but I absolutely despise that as an excuse.

the FA will give them an extra point at the end of the season in recognition for their “bravery”
