Why did the Raiders allow the Chiefs to score in the 2nd half? Are they stupid?

This game showed you what the real Chiefs offense looks like: Mahomes, Kelce, Pacheco, and Rice. Plus a little bit of depth help from Gray and Watson. That looks like a good offense to me.

Let’s not forget that the Raiders started 14-0.

Never take a 10 points lead versus Mahomes !

I think having Toney and Hardman both out was actually a benefit, forced a move away from the WR by committee approach and stick with a few guys. Allowed Rice to see a heavy volume of targets, which most of the KC fans have been clamoring for. Hopefully, this proves to be his coming out party, and we can knock off the heavy WR rotation.

Playcalling seemed a lot more direct today, too - very few “cute” plays that just haven’t worked this year. This really needs to be the plan with this group - quick downhill passing, and a lot of Pacheco.

All game chiefs had men blocking downfield early, didnt call it until it didnt matter. Half the offense ran through those quick passes only made possible by opi and illegal men downfield. But hey they called it when it didnt matter so now people will say “oh they were watching it they just didnt do it until that one time”.
