Grills on, I have louvered doors in front of my gear too, don’t need to see it or drivers, my system looks good enough without them.

I like Canare 4S11, shouldn’t have any trouble with that length.
What are your choices?
I would first try to de-couple the speakers from the floor. It’s a little harder with tower speakers but there are both feet (like SVS), and de-coupling stands from many companies.
Tone controls are great, best if they’re out of the circuit when in the ‘neutral’ position. If you want them, get them, I wouldn’t buy a preamp or integrated without them.
Inflation!
Have never used a toolless male RJ45 like the one you linked, so no recommendation there. I use ‘passthrough’ RJ45s, and a Klein Crimper tool that also strips and cuts the ends, with CAT6 solid cable. It still takes some skill, and care (patience doesn’t hurt either), but they always work. Start by just stripping the CAT6 cable, untwisting and straightening the wires, and lining them up to 568B standard. If that’s not too difficult give the passthrough’s and tool a try.
Having a purpose built router with Access Points would be one reason.
