10 months agoDon’t compare yourself to others. Read at your pace. It doesn’t matter how fast or slow you read. It matters more that you enjoy what you’re reading. Don’t worry about anyone else and just be happy with you.
I use One Note. It’s just for me. I create tabs by year and keep a running list of the books, dates read and their rating. For the record, I’m a multi-pubbed author with a major publishing house. I REFUSE to publicly give another author a low rating because I know first hand how much work they put into each and every book. If I don’t like a book, that’s on me, and I log it accordingly in my records. But I would never disparage another author online, which is why I choose to pass on Goodreads and all the other apps.
