  • I spent time trying to understand what makes Sudanese peanuts different compared to most of the peanut varieties I’m familiar with. Unfortunately, I’m not sure I know the difference yet, other than the legume being grown in Sudan.

    If we’re thinking of the same thing, then one thing I love about them is something that US Americans do the south… they boil raw peanuts with salt and spices. Oh my goodness, I could eat loads of that. I’ve made it very infrequently, but goodness do I love them especially when they have a kick.

    I’ve never had any form of banana chip that is good, but the savory platano chips (plantain) are so wonderful.

    As for chili lime, I’ve tried some tortilla ones that are okay. Also had kettle cooked, but didn’t really like that. The traditional style potato chip by Clancy’s was perfect. I tried the Lays version, but it’s legitimately terrible.
