10 months agoThis reminds me of Frank Herbert’s Dune where the chapters are broken up by journal entries by the Princess Irulan.
Dumbing down the interface; arrows pointing exactly where to go, all interactable objects being brightly highlighted, illuminated numbers and health bars giving exact feedback of damage or enemy health…
It really breaks immersion and is a constant reminder you’re simply playing a game.
