I want A top QB. I simply don’t believe that AOC is going to be that guy. He’s not bad but I don’t have faith he will be better than Carr.
Having a top QB makes things so much easier and if we can get Williams, Nix, Maye or even Penix, our odds of success go up tremendously.
The Viking and Dobbs are pretty one dimensional. Double Hock and play cover 2 and they struggle.
This is my pick if I had #1 overall.
Nix, Maye/Williams
Unfortunately I think we will be drafting high enough to get one of the top QBs this year. Williams and Nix will be gone leaving Maye and Penix possibly for us to grab.
If we win this I won’t need to see anything more, Aiden and AP for 2024.
Fuck the chiefs
It sucks because we have made great strides but unless AP stays, whoever we hire will want to bring in “their” guys especially in if we get a Defensive coach.
Realistically yes,
technically no. They have to do the process after the year ends. Even if harbaugh wanted to come in, I highly doubt that mark would make the same mistake twice especially if we make the playoffs.

I’d draft Bo before Caleb,
Maye, Nix, Caleb Penix in that order myself. But I also said pass on CJ Stroud because I thought for sure he’d flame out.
While I’ll agree unless Aiden blows us away the next few weeks we should draft the best QB we can.
However Bo Nix might be well off the board before we draft.
Bears, Cardinals, patriots, giants need a Qb and will draft higher than us
Vikings, Bucs, Rams, Falcons, Packers and commies might draft ahead of us and need a QB.
In short even if fade away these last few weeks, I don’t think we sniff Bo Nix unless we start trading the farm.
I agree, I don’t want to cost us for one of them. But if one of them fall to us, we need to pull the trigger. Plus I’m not sure we draft out of the top 7 and we should have a decent chance at getting one of the top 4 QBs.
