Flights too and from BA from the US are expensive.

Why?

Because unlike flights to Europe or Asia which cross many time zones, flights from the US to BA only cross 1-2 time zones.

Because of the long flight time and not crossing many time zones, the airplane has more down time and cannot be flown as much versus Europe when the airplane lands at a time when it can be used for the next flight right away.

Definitely not most Latin American cultures/countries.

People talking loudly, people talking very expressively, music blasting on every corner from cheap 12" speakers and clipping the sound because the volume is too high and speaker too cheap, people talking on speaker phone, people playing music on their phone without a headset, people beeping their horns. Everything speaks chaos.
