Its the worst. You’re constantly sandwiched between employers who expect you to be on the road for a full 13 hours, and police who will slap you with huge fines or take your license if you work over those 13 hours.
Every slow car in front of you or delay at a depot compounds into a stress that eats away at you. Which side is going to win out today? Are the cops going to take my license, or is the company going to sack me for not making my delivery on time?
Yes, we definitely need more trains, but the average person isn’t really in a position to build a rail network, so using the infrastructure currently available, cars are a necessity for most travel.
It’s not that you need 500km every day, it’s that you need 500km often enough to make the average affordable ev with a 150km range impractical. Until there is a reliable charging infrastructure in place, people need a vehicle that can accommodate their longest trip, not their average trip.
I didn’t realise you could bash it? Isn’t it a GUI application? And one that needs to run inside wine at that?
Fuck that. I bought one of the assassins creed games legitimately, then had it refuse to launch after a few weeks because they updated their launcher and borked it. I then pirated that same game to bypass the launcher issue and pirated every other ubisoft game since then.
If I have to pirate games to get around a deliberate flaw you worked into your program, I’m not paying for that game.
Where do you see 11 copies?
Maybe that’s their real play here? Put out a bunch of news about upcoming price hikes, and watch everyone scramble to buy up their current stock.
That’s an issue in a complete free-market state, but China is still nominally communist, i imagine that state control will occur before food shortages occur.
