Boycotts have been successful in the past, it just requires some solidarity and that part is what has been missing from a lot of the wider calls recently. I do think we could impact their profits. With android you can avoid the google play store so they don’t get a cut of ad revenue. I don’t know whether Google gets a cut of phones they didn’t manufacture just because Android is on it, considering Android is open source and the manufacturers are responsible for updates.
