Hi there ! lucky you, soon released from the little controlling brain device ! For the otp and 2fa, I use ente auth on pc, and keepassXC for strong passwords. For now I have them both on pc and phone (ente auth have sync, but keepassXC is local so you can copy and paste the file from one device to another) while my smartphone is still alive. But i try to reduce progressively the apps on my phone so the transition to dumb phone and pc only is easier.

Yeah, I feel you… I mean what really gave the impulse to my desire to dive into this project was the fact that the fantastic solarpunk animation “dear alice” is actually a damn ad for dairy products… that’s so dystopic haha, “nonsense trends” is really great wording about this. I had absolute sparks in my eyes when I watch that video, and the product placement made it fake and inauthentic Your pieces are so cool, i’ll do my best to add my own contribution to the art created by all the hearty artists who have worked to make people dream 💪

yeah ! I mean eventually I’d like to have some really specific subjects/professions or certain community represented in the octasolis project and I won’t be able to just… do it out of only me, because i’m just not concerned and people just live their lives and they can tell you tons of little details that really makes the environment and ambiance speak for itself haha

Yeah that would be really great if these researches that’s been a bit simplified could benefit everyone. I just got my hands on a great pdf about consideration and facilities for the building’s fauna in order to halt the destruction of the habitats of certain target species without compromising the energy efficiency of buildings. How do you think I should share my notes and resources to you ? i’m a bit wary of spam (that’s why I don’t post too much in the art community, i’m affraid of flooding it)

oh woah, this looks actually really great for the project i’m on, I’ll have to look into it a bit more but the summary is really interesting, it seems a lot is covered, I downloaded the pdf’s, the traduction part might be a bit tedious but it seems really well organized so it will ease the researches.
Also I was so foccused on road and cycling space amenagement that i Absolutely did not think about “correct planting of greenery”, so it will surely come really handy ~

Well for now I’m not sure how to present this graphically… But I would like it to be much more evident that the city is powered by green energy (solar, wind power, hydroelectric power, else), and that permaculture is present in town—or at least much more nature and biodiversity as wildlife—, that there is free access to covered places for rest, recreational activities, and community gatherings/events.
I’ve also included a tiny bit of accessibility for people with disabilities, but I’d like the representation to be clearer that the city is designed with the most vulnerable people in mind (i.e., children, the elderly), and people with limited mobility—with plenty of public transportation, bike lanes, and few cars. But for now, I have to admit I’m still stuck in my old mindset of cities where cars and verticality dominate, so it’s a bit of a mental stretch to rethink everything…
I’m trying to draw up plans for small sections of the city and it looks like a puzzle haha

Edit : Also I’m very up to any advice or ideas, so if anyone has any suggestions, please feel free to share them

I like to do vegan “lardons” / vegan bacon bits with it, nothing too complicated, I cut the tofu in little bits, pour them in a medium hot greased pan (it works better with firm thawed tofu), and i wait until they get a bit golden. In the meantime I prepare hot water for some smokey tea (I dont have liquid smoke where i live). Then when i think they are well fried, I poor over some soy sauce and I sauté them, coating them evenly. And lastly I add my smoked tea, i’d say for measurement the tofu should be covered, and a little bit of oil. I wait for the tofu to drink up the tea and oil (if there’s too much i remove the excess) and voila !! I put this in pastas, salad or tart ^^
