The only issue I have is the the rim is in the field of view of the backup camera:

Anyone know if there is something I can do, like extend it a bit to be clear of the rim?

I love the idea, I think I can make this current proposal work.

That makes sense to me. I started building an elaborate base and it was an ordeal even trying to get them to their beds.

No walls for me, but I constantly have them stranded somewhere.
