10 months agoI had this feeling during many of the chapter opening descriptions of the Salinas valley in John Steinbeck’s East of Eden. I’m planning a trip to visit the areas described during the spring because he made it sound so lovely.
Issac Asimov writes a lot of characters that do things “sardonically.”
