It’s not culture related at all, men like this are all around the world. He has been selfish for too long being single, he’s gotten away with treating women like objects, and those women have allowed to be treated as such. Shekinah is most likely the first woman to stand up to him, he now has to completely change his tune and relearn how to treat women. He’s a 20 year old in a 42 year olds body.

I am going to get downvoted into hell for saying this, but Nikki does not behave like a woman at all. She still has all the male characteristics like taking control constantly, being selfish with sex and nagging. No wonder he won’t go down on her, she behaves exactly like a dude.

Also she was completely rude to Mary. I know Mary is insufferable and doesn’t make it easy for people to like her, but Branden’s mom is older and she should have at least put in an effort to ask about the pregnancy, or whatever else. Mary is annoying af, but she’s the girl that Branden has chosen to have a child with, so she needs to suck it up.
