I didn’t like Season 1 as much, I think because the story was scattered around introducing so many characters. I also agree that ecchi is a turn-off for me, but I liked the concept, characters, and production value enough to stick with it.

I think the strength of the 3rd season onwards is that it relies more on the established cast, rather than introducing a ton of new characters all the time.

So, can I pick this up and just start watching? Or is there another series I should watch before this?

I disagree. I had to stick with it through Season 1 and 2, but I got hooked and ended up binging Seasons 3 and 4.

The standardized drive cycles and testing procedure were all determined by the EPA themselves. What happens now if an automaker challenges these procedures? The EPA loses authority to create the test procedures, and the automakers can just give them numbers and say “trust us”

We’ve already passed the Paris Climate Accord global warming limit, and the yearly global greenhouse gas emissions are still increasing to record levels. 1.5C of warming was supposed to be the doomsday limit, but now they say 2C isn’t that bad? The moving target for the global warming limit is a joke, and the poor and impoverished are the punchline.

Sure, I get the urge to have children, but I’ve already gone through the 7 stages of grief myself about it.
