Don’t ask me for specifics for the book or the film because it’s been years since I’ve read or watched it, but I distinctly remember not liking the book but enjoying the film.

Nah. If you read fantasy/sci-fi, sequels are a given and integral to the whole story. And usually there’s as good if not better.

At this point I don’t even care any more. Even if Winds does come out, A Dream of Spring is never seeing the light of day.
