I never liked Disgaea and Fire Emblem already existed in the 90s. I haven’t play all titles to say that it improved on the formula substantially since then?

I think that’s true for the entire genre, it just peaked in the 90s. I’d kill for a Vandal Hearts HD remaster lol

I often read people being thrown off by the Duty! Honor! Service! But. I think it’s just a slight shift in Starfleet. Duty always came first, and there are a couple of TNG episodes where Picard is very adamant about it. I don’t see it shouting as a captain, but as a young cadet? Sure. And Honor, with Klingons being part of Starfleet, could be a cultural shift. Who knows. Maybe it will be discussed in the show, that would be cool.

It’s not like SE gave up on Tactical JRPGs, and Diofield Chronicles and Triangle Strategy were very well received as well. I don’t think a game gets better just by the Final Fantasy name. But if we got a Tactics Advance HD remaster collection, that would be amazing

And before I forget, I wanted to play the Shadow Hearts series inally.

My daughter still does not allow much playtime. I want to replay the first two Trails of Cold Steel games before diving into parts 3 and 4… and I guess that will be my project for the year lol. Ah yeah and finally Chained Echoes.
Season 3 was just pure riding on nostalgia without any message on its own. It’s a hollow shell, which is really disappointing considering the first two seasons were so good.
