I agree with that. It’s just not a book for me.

There is never any attachment to the story of Jane and Mr. Rochester. I found this book to be boring, slow, overly detailed, and overall, just not interesting. And let’s not forget the racism laced throughout the text, the ideal solution for insanity is locking someone in an attic, and the threatening of violence when rejecting a man’s advances…no thanks. I truly do not get the hype on this one.
