Yeah, honestly knowing what I know now, this is the way to do it. Do whatever you want for most of your life and screw the consequences. Die at 35 without health insurance.

I’m glad 1 hour of porn and telescope each day keeps you going. For most of us, it’s not enough.
It would be nice to not be alienated at work. It would also be nice to have some kind of say in what we do 80% of the time we’re awake. A more democratized workplace would do a lot.

I like it, but I need to figure out how to link to another comment from my comment in such a way that any user on any instance can follow the link without having to deal with switching the URL to their instance.
“What a cool notebook! I’m going to make this my new personal phone book and spend all afternoon putting all my contacts in it.”

Ehh, it’s commercial brain.
Before I was clued in there was a lot of awkward interactions where I would rub up against the system that I thought was working. The other person would just quietly end the conversation and I would be confused by this.
Now that I understand it, things like making my house AI, is an obvious problem. But for somebody who hasn’t been informed there’s no way to know.
You’ve posted a good argument to a discussion that we are not currently having in this thread. You may need to take a little break from Lemmy.

To live is to be cringe.
Well, then, never mind, I thought you were referencing another post. Sorry for the distraction.
Darnnit, I need to double check these things.

Well maybe your not bating.
Like a seagull. :/
Where did seagull come from, did you have a pet seagull?
Yes officer this bait right here.
Edit: After further discussion, I don’t think they were baiting.
I guess the important thing really is that you are having fun.
Do you often Google words on montage memes made with Ms paint?
Also, you knew and just kept debating my uneducated rear end? Why for fun?
Aww, poop. I got my comments mixed up. Sorry and thanks again.
It is confirmed. I don’t understand it very well, but I think this video is pretty decent at explaining it.

The proof is done with raw numbers and geometry so doing it with physical objects would be worse, even the MS paint is a bad way to present it but it’s easier on the eyes than just numbers.
Mathematicians would be very excited if you could find a better way to pack them such that they can be bigger.
So it’s not like there is no way to improve it. It’s just that we haven’t found it yet.
