I can see your point but to me that’s like watching goodfellas and at the end saying Henry was a good guy after all because he testified against the mob.

Pence was between a rock and a hard place and made a decision based on himself more than saving America or whatever. Looking back, I wonder if he would have tried to go along with the coup, would that have been better long term. It’s doubtful it would have worked, and maybe some real action with consequences would have come about. Now we are stuck with Trump as a dictator.

Simply doing his job should not gain him respect. But that’s how low the bar is for these asshats.

That does not sound like what Trump feels or does. He may change what he says or actions but I don’t think it’s out of humiliation. But rather a narcissistic need to be liked. He still thinks others are wrong and he doesn’t care to change to help anyone but himself. No self reflection or thought that he could be wrong.

It’s still nice to see him look so hurt when it happens and would like to see more of it. From a jail cell would be great.

These polls don’t really say much. Do they regret or would they change their vote? If there was another election would they still choose Trump over a democrat? Are they blaming the other side and want Trump to do something different?

M experience in Florida is most of those who think “unfavorably” of Trump in no way consider the other side better and would still support Trump over anyone, even Jesus. Bitch and moan and hate is the general rule for maga.

He has no capacity to feel humiliated. He doesn’t care about the truth or facts. And most of his followers are the same way.

This title is all wrong. It’s not “Breaking” news. It’s not being considered. It’s a done deal and nobody will do anything about it. The only thing to decide is when they do it. I guess that is the breaking part, that maybe is mow.

And we all know Trump and maga are really into following laws and being fair.

A lot of bars would have tons of cash on Fridays and bartenders would cash paychecks. Customers would pay off the tab and start a new one. Idk how common it is anymore. Most jobs I’ve had for a while will give a paper check if they have to, but discourage it as much as possible.

They didn’t give any details on this donation. Considering the people dying it, it could all be a lie. And even if real, I’m sure a large majority of that donation would never get to the actual people it is supposed to help, and enlisted people will probably suffer with some tax implications or something that eventually makes the whole boondoggle not worth it. This administration is a shitshow.

There should be tens of millions protesting. Instead we get a few million across the entire country and somehow think it’s a win. It didn’t Clare any of these fucks who now know that can continue on with their fascist ways with no real opposition. We already live in a one party ruled dictatorship that people refuse to believe. This will get a whole lot worse before it gets better.

I’m surprised how many people are so optimistic that there will ever be free and fair elections again in the US. Let alone there being a single democrat out there that can or will do anything good if elected. I’d like to share some optimism, but I just can’t see it.

For as much as I see the TP thing online, I’d say I’m in the minority by not caring one bit about which way it faces. But I can see why people care.

Because something that I do care about that’s kinda the same, I will remake the bed if the top sheet is on the wrong way. Seems a lot of people think the nicer side with the good stitching faces up. But no, you want to make a nice sheet samich, with the nice sides facing each other so you are feeling the good side when you’re in the sheets.

My ex could never figure that out and would get mad at me when I said that was wrong. Or she just did that so I made the bed and she never had to.

When my son was a younger teen, I’d look up the cool new slang words, and casually throw them into conversations with him and his friends. I never tried to actually use them correctly. He’d groan and roll his eyes. His friends would laugh and think his dad was a nerd.

One time I said a word wrong and they all laughed. Soon they were saying it as a joke. Then it became a word they just used.

I never saw it used online, so I don’t think I made a change in slang usage anywhere else except for a small group of middle schoolers. But I find it funny how it became accepted so quickly. And then forgotten just as quick.
