Benelux already has Payconiq (only phone number required as identification) which runs one SEPA, I think it will become Wero this year

You get downvoted because Spotify has no place on the list of European alternatives despite it being based in Sweden for the reasons mentioned in the article, and yet you highlight them? Plus who cares about downvotes as there is no profile bound karma system.

I know but in the end it’s a net income, not expense; and it’s been like this everywhere in Europe as clean energy generation Increased, the energy producer participates more in the maintenance cost of the grid. I think people should get paid fairly for the energy they generate though, to justify this or the investment in a domestic battery that can supply the grid when there’s demand

Pay to maintain the grid but get paid for the injected energy, like is already the case in a few EU countries, correct?

Take this guy out

Is this graph meant to trigger people? Belgium, a net contributor to the EU, founded the ECSC, EEC and EU but is relegated to tier three with the likes of Romania, and Poland, which barely shares in many founding principles, takes a leading role ? And based on what? Size? Idiots. I can’t watch such a video.

Côte d’Or is still produced mainly in Belgium.

The EU can theoretically fine Twitter out of business (legally) which would result in the same outcome as banning them.

Sorry mate, but if your only point is your dislike of their investment in an AI product that many people use and you believe you paid for, that’s not a very good one. I don’t know about you, but I constantly use AI assistants and so do many other people. It’s a good, European based product with some unique features. I don’t pay for it, and my standard proton subscription doesn’t increase in cost.

It’s clearly not by increasing the price or your subscription. Why does it even concern you how it’s funded? They can reinvest their profits however they please. Next you’ll complain about their USD5M privacy charity contributions that didn’t go to the development of your package. YOU hate anything that carries the AI tag. Bias

Lumo is standalone, freemium, no account or existing subscription required. It’s funded by premium users, not by your plan, nor is it part of it. Proton hasn’t increased the cost of their base services since 2023 and did so only once since their launch, Lumo launched mid-2025. Lumo’s open-source, no-logs and anonymous no account required free service is privacy-first AI done right… Always good to check your facts before applying your bias…

Everyone gets access to the base service and you pay separately for the advanced plan which is not included in their other service packages. I swear some people live to complain

That shirt illustrates perfectly how stupid they are since Macron is against it.

lol, no. This is what happens when you allow companies to get too large, they pervert everything.

Those jobs will probably come back in other forms once shit hits the fan…

NATO was designed to protect Europe from Russia. So today, it would be better off without the US in it.
They’ll reverse course soon enough, like other companies who’ve tried this. AI cannot be leveraged to replace people (or at least not yet) but leave it to ignoring companies like Ergo to try
