Quit Xitter, came here. Love the idea of social media not controlled by a corporation.
I follow art, history, science, #Esperanto, #MardiPatisserie, and capybaras.
I try to contribute to political action here, but end up very grumpy.
With this announcement, does that change things? I don’t mind giving to the general fund (via #MastodonForHarris , of course), but I’d love to be able to say “this is for the law stuff”. Also, some people might have max’ed their per-person candidate contributions, so can’t go that way, but still want to support the legal team.
In summary: Where should people who want support this send contributions?
Yeah, the lawyering part is going to be so important in this election.
I had been looking for where I could send money to support Elias’s work, and had only gotten as far as finding the Democracy Docket web site.

I wasn’t sure, as Democracy Docket seemed to be the informational web site, and I wanted the most direct support of the lawsuits, so had been looking to see if there was a separate fund for that.
