Anecdotal but I have managed a fleet of over 1000 Lenovo Chromebooks for almost a decade and have found them to be solid and easily repaired when needed. We also have had no issues with a tiny fleet of Thinkpads.
The only major issue I’ve run into was the supply chain issues during the pandemic. Not unique to Lenovo but was interesting that it was exacerbated by Lenovo being found to use components from subsidiaries that regularly used forced labor in manufacturing.
Spent two years on and off on Simon’s Quest before figuring out some of the hidden stuff that allowed me to get to the end and then beat the game. Hundreds of wasted hours killing those stupid zombies at night and talking to useless villagers during the day. What a shit designed game.
Compensating.
“I’m the richest man in the world, I must be the best. Why don’t people like me? I’ll make them pay for mocking me…”
I have high school aged children so all of the sabre rattling is unsettling to me. I would love my kids to maybe explore degree programs outside of the US because I don’t see things getting better anytime soon. I don’t want them sucked into some bullshit conflict started by that guy.
I will never fly on something like this. If that eventually means I never fly again, so be it.
Hmm. I would propose that this line of thinking should then apply to Luigi as well. Anyone agree?
For anyone else in the US … Look at Mr. Moneybags here with 2 (2!) eggs for breakfast. Sheesh. Some people just gotta flaunt their wealth.
Gross. Just gross.
Me too. Although it depends on the device. Sometimes I am the really old guy and sometimes I’m Tom Cruise.
With that said, I got a great laugh from this.
I suggest they change to the Utah Mormoms or Utah Polygamists.
Wilford Brimley? Didn’t know he played tennis. Die a beet us!
Just to stir shit up… I’m going to say Al Franken.
I left Reddit. Came here. Happy with my choice so far
That’s what feels different for me this time. Before I took a break and came back fine. This time … I just don’t know… Every day is worse.
And that’s WITH limitations on social media, getting outside more, medication and spending more time with family.
(It’s like the therapist scene from Office Space)
The fact that you even weighed the pros and cons of your proposal puts you light years ahead of most hiring managers.
This is an editorial. Mr. Ludwig, the author, is providing statistics from his own institute. Doesn’t mean he’s automatically wrong, just that the article should be viewed as any other editorial, rather than statement of fact.
He’s not wearing a tie at all. (Gasps)
I’m sure they’ll be able to find a job with Tesla forest service, X public health, or other private companies that spring up. Of course they’ll need to get used to the “market rate” of poverty wages and no benefits but hey it’s better this way, right? /s
