Basically I think though my latins rusty it reads like google translate in that the form seems wrong like someone transliterated English to Latin and ignored Latin grammar and logic in that Latin speaking people in Latin really doesn’t exist in the same way. Latini I think was only the subgroup of Latin speakers in Italy named Latium, either way not how a Roman Latin speaker would refer to a Latin speaker in general, not that the concept existed in the same way.

Yeah this only really applies to Algol style imperative languages. Dependent types and say stack languages like idris and apl are dramatically different in their underlying axioms.

And aluminum was what it was originally spelled as well, at this point it’s not going to change in American English. Even the IUPAC acknowledges it as accepted, it’s been there from the start can we move on past this after 200+ years?
If it’s right I’d want a source, the oe spelling in British English is as far as I was aware a let’s latinize thing in Britain.
