Reddit is full of children
It is new and I also just noticed it a few months ago. People acting like it’s been prominent for a long time are deceiving you or themselves.
This one actually isn’t over the line though
The change would decrease the effectiveness of an offside trap
Unpopular opinion (maybe?): there is nothing unethical about betting your own team to win outright. Playing a spread or for a draw or any other prop bet you can influence is unethical, but betting on yourself to do your job doesn’t seem the same.
