My fiance wasn’t comfortable with my cat on the bed when he first moved in because that wasn’t allowed at his house growing up. So I didn’t let the cat in the bed for a few weeks, and eventually my fiance got to know him and changed his feelings about that.
It took patience, understanding, things grown-ups do in relationships. Not everyone feels the same way about pets, and there has to be a compromise.
