I just commented this about Stephen King somewhere above. Aside from The Dark Half, all the movies were better.

Agreed and other than The Dark Half (which was a good movie but a better book IMO) I think this about a lot of Stephen King’s books vs movie adaptation.

Also, not Stephen King and I know I’ll get flack for this one - The Martian.

This is the first time I’m hearing someone else not liking The Martian. Hmmm, maybe I should actually try Hail Mary.

I loved this story at first, the writing, the narration, everything. Then it just devolved into a weird never ending sex thing. Even that would have been ok if it didn’t go on and on and on.

I noped out. I figure the story never ended. They might still all be having sex to this day.

Agreed. Or any general mysterious unease that she easily overcomes, “She had been feeling a bit…‘off’ lately. Maybe it was the flu, maybe it was the stress, but either way she had to go on. The dizziness took her for a moment, but she shook her head and pushed it away. She had to keep moving forward. There was no time.” All so that later we can think wow, and she did it all while pregnant.
