I had to look this up and now you all have to read this as well

According to Wikipedia you only need a majority of the principal members which narrows it down to 15, basically just the ones with secretary or attorney general in their title. Acting titles can participate as well. Meaning you only need 8 voting yay

That’s literally the plot of the purge. It exists to get rid of poor people.

I’m a network engineer and I’m not entirely sure what’s going on. The ip addresses would be visible at some point or it wouldn’t work. I assume they’ve done the simple thing and ran a packet capture but a good chance it’s running through VPN so who knows

I do networking in the industrial space. This is the most truest statement on the internet.
Edit: for clarification I don’t put these in place. Most of my job is doing audits and telling people to get rid of them and then replacing them.

So is she assuming the role of J. Edgar Hoover because Patel is even more incompetent than her?

Bellville, Tx? That place is super small. If 1k people attended it would increase the population by 25%.

It’s not like the rule of law means anything to him but, there is no mechanism that I know of that allows him to cancel elections.
Even if he could, everyone in the houses term would just expire next January. Senators leaving could just be appointed by governors I assume, but again I know of no mechanism to install house members without some sort of election.
Before people jump all over me, I want to repeat, it’s not like he respects the law, but if he did there is no mechanism for him to cancel elections that I know of.

Ah cool the torment nexus from the book ”don’t invent the torment nexus”
