This is the winner. Omg, I’ve suffered through some really dumb twists in video game plots but this wins the ultimate crock of shit award.
I don’t know how the game ends because I never played any further than that stupid twist.

I don’t think there’s anything inherently wrong with supernatural creatures, they just did a really poor job of foreshadowing it; like there’s no supernatural stuff until the last sections of the game and suddenly it’s like “oh, I guess there are monsters now? Okay?”
If other spooky or paranormal stuff had been seen or at least alluded to before that point, it wouldn’t have felt as weird.
There’s a really stupid little workaround you have to do to get it to install - you have to start the game, then start any other game, then quit the new game and switch back to Need for Speed.
After that the EA installer will appear; from there everything works perfectly.
Need for Speed Unbound looks outstanding on it. It’s already naturally got a very bold, colorful graphical style and on the OLED display those colors just punch you in the retinas.
Dragon Age Origins is a fantastic game until a demon randomly tosses you into the Fade in the middle of a quest and the entire game just stops while you try to escape this stupid dreamworld. The mechanics are all different, the scenario is a bunch of bullshit Dream logic, it adds absolutely nothing to the story, and it’s 100% required to proceed in the main quest.
Like there are a ton of things I like about that game but what the hell was that, BioWare?
