Meh tbh the bar for me is that they’re not a statue. Being a dual threat is cool and all but look at all the (good) dual threat qbs in the league right now. Lamar, Kyler, Allen, and hurts have had to rely on their arm more than ever after teams adapt to their mobility and they look at their massive contracts and realize they don’t wanna have the career length of a running back. Having a good arm with good football iq and pocket awareness is more important than being a second running back imo. I think most qbs coming into the league nowadays have become more mobile overall, so really depends on what the new coaching regime will want once Davis makes a decision
I think it buys those guys time to find their footing in the nfl, they still have a form of offense while learning the nuances of being a passer, it’s why I thought Richardson was going to be good eventually
