Truthfully, I thought she had a lot of patience especially when they were burning literal shit & sprinkling piss in the house. I think she’s a a basket case at times, but I haven’t seen her do anything that should equal this amount of hate (at least that I remember) . She was literally saying she was depressed and TJ didn’t do a single thing but gaslight her into going back to America and told her it was her own fault. His family seem insufferable & I’m sure most people on here wouldn’t be able to deal with that. Sharing a space with a brother & stepmom who are condescending and rude and demand you to do things that wasn’t planned would make me scream too.

This was the first time I really empathized with her. TJ actively ignored her and downplayed everything she said. In the past he at least validated her in private. They had a 3 mo time jump and I bet there was a 180 switch from him in that time.

I’ve been there not feeling heard is the worst and I’d want to scream too. It’s not a mature reaction at all and she needs some help with regulating her emotions for sure. I still understand why she did it.

Say it louder for the folks in back!! Not feeling heard can be honestly maddening, even I wanted to primal scream at TJ lol

Same on empathizing with Kim this time around. She’s fragile and seems to be a very emotive person. When she’s happy, her whole face lights up with joy. When she’s frustrated, she screams like the last episode. TJ is an ass for not giving her much needed emotional support.

I do agree that she needs some help with her emotional regulation, but honestly if I was told after being lied to for however long they’ve been together that oh by the way the rest of your life is going to consist of daily servitude to my family I would do a lot more than scream. The reaction to the apartment might have been a bit much, but at the same time he truly wasn’t listening to her. Still, for stuff like that she could really use some coping skills or something.

He’s a straight up liar. He blatantly lied to her over and over while admitting it to the camera.

Yeah her reaction to finding out the truth was totally justified. And her scream when he just would not listen is maybe not what I would do but I’d want to. Maybe she’s just more in touch with her emotions than I am. In any case, I really get sick of the hate for her and the excuses for him. It’s like people just think it’s no big deal to expect women to be submissive or give up their right to choose their life path if you use culture as an excuse. It’s such bullshit. That used to be the culture pretty much everywhere and now it’s not in a lot of places. Nothing of value was lost.

That’s right and now she’s the wife so she’s considered a second-class citizen in India. Sadly she has two options: either she tries to learn Hindi and explore India alone (like Jenni did) and make the best of it or return to the US and get an American man.

And from the tell-all preview Jenny jumps on Kimberly about not trying. Jenny did Not have to live with inlaws that hated her and wanted her only as a slave with no support from her husband. She and Sumit moved away.

Apples and oranges. Jenny now thinks she knows all about India.

When he said “I work all day! What about my emotional support?” I wanted to punch him through the screen. Like dude… Your WIFE is just asking for a hug and some comfort and you’re selfish enough to throw it back at her that she’s not supportive when you don’t even talk to her? I feel so bad for Kimberly. I hope she ends the marriage and stays in the US.

She literally asked for a hug and his response was “in not going to do that”. She’s obviously got problems, but this scene changed how I view her. She used her words well (at first) and clearly stated that she’d suffering emotionally and needs some help/ support. He completely ignored what she was telling him and basically told her to just gtfo. If I were her, I’d gtfo. I see why she wants to stay with her husband, but at this point, it’s obvious he lied to her about what their life together would be. It’s fraud, really. I feel bad for her.

Yes!! I hate TJ after that episode. He’s a gaslighting jerk and she needs to stay away from him. Divorce is the only option right now, or counseling so he can learn how to marry the two cultures. If they stay in India, that marriage is doomed though.

He was fed up with her by that point. Both her and TJ had reached their limits with the situation tbh. The difference is he remains relatively calm while she goes off the deep end.

3 months of her hiding out from his family, not trying to assimilate and blaming him for that most likely in the same manner and he’s not really feeling like hugging you is not surprising. She clearly has moved passed the omission of her wifely duties and that isn’t the issue. She’s bored. She doesn’t want to try with the family. All the planning, wedding planning, TV show she got caught up in and then reality set in.

She can sit with them all day and the brother would have to translate all conversations, it would be awkward for all. I wouldn’t eat anything from that womans kitchen either, she’s gross.

So sitting in your room all day alone for 3 months while not even attempting and blaming your spouse for your decisions isn’t…awkward? If the brother and mother don’t have an issue with translating why is that an issue?

Gross or not it’s cultural and she’s fully aware that she’s not in America and should know that some things we find gross they would probably find gross about us. She needs to get over it or help clean. Do something. Some revere cows while we slaughter them. Some eat dogs and cats where we have them as pets. Acclimate. She chose to move to another country and marry a man with different beliefs and a different culture. Her choice. Grow up or go home but playing victim and blaming her husband for her choices have gotten her no where. No brainer.
