I am playing Horizon Zero Dawn and haven’t gotten to the first main event, but it gives me this feeling like if I upgrade all my equipment now it might be for nothing. I know that is not the case, I looked it up, but what are some games that are the worst offenders? One I can think of is Aerith in the original FF7.

    Metal Gear Solid 5. I spent forever searching for the perfect soldiers for my base, then >!the virus came along, I did not figure out it’s clue, and many of my people died.!<

      Scrolled down just to see if someone mentioned this, put 100 hours in before “the event” and damn pretty much stopped playing after this like so many other people.

        Wait what? That’s nonsense, it’s not even a major event and the soldiers you lose are worthless anyways later on, you would habe dismissed them anyways due to the low ranks. I would definitely give it another chance.

        I mean it’s not that bad, just do FOB infiltration and you’ll be back up to strength within a couple hours

        There is literally no point in actually going to the campaign map and stealing soldiers there

          Tbf my fob infiltration level is ass so all soldiers from that are like E tier meanwhile the campaign ones are A++ sometimes
