I hope this kid gets another shot next season. I’m all for drafting a QB but this dude so far has earned his spot at QB1

He is getting notably better each game. I still think we draft a QB but he should get to battle it out for QB1 next year

Yeah personally I think I’d stick with a guy with experience in the NFL rather than a college rookie. I mean have you seen Caleb Williams tape? Aidan looks way better.

You draft a rookie, you have to go through growing pains, unless you have a great line to protect them. Raiders line isn’t great. Look at Bryce Young constantly running for his life, and then compare that to Stroud playing behind a top OL.

        We need to draft defense.

      That is a wild statement.
He has shown his physical limitations.
He has a decent to good feel for the game that comes with his maturity and age, but the arm isn’t there and with how old he is it’s not gonna get better to compete with all the freak arms we have in the league now.
His arm being better than Jimmy’s is too low of a bar for him to be given next years job.

He’s gonna have a long career and make boatloads of cash as a premier QB2. He’s that guy you want making spot starts when your QB1 goes down because he will run the full system and be good enough to keep a team afloat. What AOC is not is one of the best 32 QBs on the planet(IQ + elite athlete.) He’s doing an admirable job and I’d love to roster the kid for the next decade. But he can not and should not be the Raiders top option breaking camp in any given year.

I’m going to reserve that judgment until the end of the season, so far I like what I’m seeing given his/this franchise circumstance.

          Boatloads probably not.
He won’t get another contract until he’s 29.
And if he ends up behind a QB that doesn’t miss time there probably won’t be a reason for him to get a contract.
Especially since teams will probably just take chances on failed talent.
