Running DX11 i’am maxing FPS at 144 (vrr)

Running DX12 i can’t get event 100 and it stutters a lot.

AMD 6900XT

  • xf86-video-amdgpu 23.0.0-1
  • Arch 6.6.2-zen1-1-zen (64-bit)
  • amdvlk 2023.Q4.2-1

But with last update i’am getting Black Screen on loading, need to restart it more that 5 times after which is okay. In DX12 everything works fine but very low fps

    Do you have more than one GPU installed in your computer? if do enable gpu_name in mangohud to make sure the right GPU is running.

      Reinstalled to Amvlk just for test, fps was so bad either, but also on radv there is a glitch with effects in current version

    Thou shalt no use amdvlk for gaming where ever possible.

    At a guess, I’d say that’s your problem.

    Any reason you’re using amdvlk over the vulkan-radeon package? I’ve recently swapped vendors so I’m a bit new but all the research I did prior to swapping from nvidia indicated amdvlk performs worse with generally more issues.
