Honest question: what is the deal with sanitary towels in the US? They seem to be really big and really thick - I’ve tried Kotex, Always… they’re like nappies/diapers. And they don’t stick!
Can anyone recommend a brand that is more like what we would get in the UK? Slimline and where the wings actually stick please?
It’s the topsheet! (the layer that sits directly against your skin) And I’d bet good money it’s the “ultra dry” or whatever name they’re using now. It’s a known issue that a part of the population has a reaction to this specific type of topsheet but a significant part also prefers it, so they keep making it 乁( •_• )ㄏ
With the “soft touch” or “soft cotton” topsheet there is far less issues
