The only straight women I’ve ever seen express an honest, self-derived interested in penises broadly have been “OMG I love penises so much and eat like, 30 dicks before lunch” marketed personas on reddit and the like who have Onlyfans links in their bios. I think the largest reason for lower reports is social pressure and the flexibility applied when being unhappy with your own orientation due to that pressure “I am not gay. I just like to experiment!” I believe that this partly causes the relatively large amount of “not completely straight” people in more precise studies.
Anyway, this is a lot of guess work. Mainly I had this presumption, because a gay man I know stated “I can ask 10 men on the street and one will join me” and given that it sounded like he tried it a few times, I do believe him. So my starting position is highly anecdotal and not very scientific.

To arrive at 20:1, I calculated with 5% of people being “mostly homosexual”, which means that about 2.5% of the population is “mostly homosexual” men and about 45% is “mostly heterosexual” women. While I don’t disagree with your conclusions, I am not sure about your assumptions that got you there. Even if we agree that we are talking about a very limited population group like: people living in North America, You assumptions seem to be based upon a fairly young group of sexually active people without children. I am not taking a swipe at women, gays, or marriage here, I am merely pointing out that there is a real divergence in the life styles and priorities of people who are actively having/trying to have kids versus those that are not. Yes, it is also the same for gay couples trying to adopt or do the surrogacy thing. But I am not sure that group is big enough yet to effectively skew the numbers. I guess what I am getting at is that are a lot stresses and time factors that effect how often you have time and energy to dive or have some dive face first into your genitals.

I cant recall the frame). The small subset of gay couples had a higher average but not by tooo much, at like 6 or 7. Straight women tended to go down more than straight men, though straight men claimed greater satisfaction/arousal from giving oral (women were at like 25% who enjoyed it, vs 52% of the men).
That was a younger contingent, non-married/long term, and a tiny sample in general, likely from one particular region of the world. Likely a region fairly open/accepting of all this stuff, given the topic of the survey. I’d bet the numbers skew WAY differently amongst boomers and genX even – even many older millennials are sorta prudish on this front.
But even with those really wobbly data points, its not quite “for every woman that doesn’t, there’s one that does”, it’s more “for every 10 women, there’re 3 that don’t do it, 1-2 that enjoy it, and 5-6 that tolerate it now and then”.
